Description

Booklets allow you to deliver a wealth of information in a compact size and are a great tool for marketing your products or services, giving you a large amount of room for you to give the tiniest detail. Our booklets are made to the highest specification in order to really impress customers, and you, alike. You can use them as catalogues, guides, brochures, and more.

We have created a 5-stage guide to ordering booklets to make it easy for you – there are many options and factors to consider when creating a booklet. If you have any questions or can’t find exactly what you are looking for, please feel free to Contact us. Once you have read this guide, please fill in the form at the top of this page to request a quote!

Stage 1 – The Size of the Booklet.

First, you will need to choose the size of your booklet (when closed). Choose from the following;

  • A4 Portrait (210 x 297 mm)
  • A4 Landscape (210 x 297 mm)
  • A5 Portrait (148 x 210 mm)
  • A5 Landscape (148 x 210 mm)
  • A6 Portrait (105 x 148 mm)
  • DL Portrait (1/3 A4 – 99 x 210 mm)
  • Medium Square (148 x 148 mm)
  • Large Square (210 x 210 mm)

Once you have chosen the size, we can move on to stage 2.

Stage 2 – The Number of Pages.

A stapled Booklet always has a multiple of 4 pages. This is because the way Booklets are made – For every 4 pages you add, we will add 1 whole sheet of paper folded to make another 4 pages. Another thing to note is that a Booklet with 8 pages has a cover (back & front) and 6 pages on the inside. We can create your Booklet with 8 pages minimum – If you need a 4-page Booklet, it would be a single sheet folded in half. The maximum number of pages would be a 64-page Booklet. If you are looking for a higher number of pages, please check out Perfect Bound Booklets.

  • Available in multiples of 4, from 8 to 64 pages.

Stage 3 – Choose a Paper Thickness for the Inside Pages.

In this stage, please select the paper thickness for all of the pages inside of your brochure (we’ll get to the cover later!) The pages inside can not be thicker than the cover. Choose from:

  • 90gsm Silk
  • 135gsm gloss
  • 170gsm silk
  • 250gsm gloss

Stage 4 – Choose a Paper Thickness for the Cover

If you would like a professional and executive look to your booklet, we can offer a thicker cover for the booklet. Order your booklets with a cover for that extra ‘wow’. Remember, the pages inside can not be thicker than the cover.

  • 90gsm Premium Silk Paper
  • 135gsm Premium Silk Paper
  • 135gsm Premium Gloss Paper
  • 170gsm Premium Silk Paper
  • 250gsm Premium Silk Paper
  • 250gsm Premium Gloss Paper

For extra impact opt for a thick 250gsm cover to give your booklet the premium feel.

Stage 4.5 – Finishing

This is an optional stage, but can be the difference between a great looking booklet that looks professional and a booklet that ends up in the bin. We can add lamination to the cover of your booklet, meaning the front and back cover will be laminated whilst the inside covers will be standard paper. Lamination will change the look and feel of your booklet, making it different to your standard booklet and improving the quality. Choose from:

  • Matt Lamination – Our most popular finish feels soft, professional and has a slightly desaturated effect, so works best with lighter background colours.
  • Gloss Lamination – This is ultra-shiny and adds a high silk sheen. It is much more glossy than the standard paper we use for Booklets. It also helps bring out vibrant colours making your artwork appear rich and punchy.
  • Velvet Lamination – The premium choice. This textured business card finish looks similar to matt lamination but feels soft to the touch- like the outside of a peach. Depending on your other choices, this can be very pricey, so only choose this if you need the best of the best.

Again, this stage is entirely optional – you can skip this stage if you do not want lamination on the cover.

Stage 5 – Quantity

And Finally, how many Booklets would you like? If you need a quantity not listed, please write it in the notes and we may be able to help.

That’s it! Now just go to the top of the page, fill in the contact form and we will email you a quote!
